Garth Johnson was born an artist. He grew up in the microscopic town of Hebron, IL, a town of 1,000 people on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois.

Garth Johnson is an aspiring dancer and choreographer who started dancing at the tender age of 6 at the Dance Factory in Delevan, WI. He later graduated from the Chicago Academy for the Arts high school, and the Juilliard School（Dance，09）. He trained and danced with Extensions Dance Company in Chicago, and has worked with many choreographers such as Nick Pupillo, Lizzie Mackenzie, Gregory Dolbashian, Randy Duncan, Kate Jablonski, Andrea Miller, as well as others.

Gallery space in June 2012. He has also taught dance all over North America, and in Iceland.

In February 2013 he joined the cast of PUNCHDRUNK'S 'Sleep No More', performing eight roles. He has also danced for MADboots Dance Company for their production of ACADEMY (2013) performed at 92Y. gARTh used to be a part of Lloyd Newson's DV8 Physical Theatre based in London, England. Performing in the touring production 'JOHN''. Which played at the National Theatre of London and toured Europe and the UK. He is also a part of Garsington Opera's Death in Venice.

If you've ever heard the song "Ghost of Corporate Future" by Regina Spektor, you will know exactly what I am speaking of. A lyric from the song provided me with a great deal of courage that day:"People are just people, they shouldn't make ya nervous...cause people are just people. People are just people. People are just people like you."

面试最后老师问“你还有什么想告诉我们的吗？”Garth回答：“我爱冰淇淋！”（是真的，但他后来乳糖不耐所以再也不吃了。）

A baby sitter took Garth Johnson to her daughter’s dance class years ago, and he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.“I just remember getting in the car and being like, ‘I have to go back. Take me back please,’ ” said Johnson, who was about 6 years old at the time.
